Menchie started mixing when he was only a baby. It quickly became his passion and led him to do what he loves and love what he does: making mixes of yogurt and toppings with his sweet friends.

Together, the Sweet Friends represent the United Flavors of Yumm (UFY) and travel the world in the pursuit of yumminess with one mission in mind: to spread the yumm with smiles. In the UFY, any mix possible and all mixes are created equal.

The Menchie's Brand Document

Within the next 20 years Menchie's will be a worldwide network of identical frozen yogurt stores, serving the highest quality product with the highest level of service while creating a happy experience for every guest. It will exceed $1 billion in sales and have more than 2,000 stores globally.

Guests will be able to go to Menchie's anywhere in the world and enjoy exactly the same experience every time: quality service, a quality product, a happy environment, a warm and friendly design, and cleanliness. Menchie's is designed to serve all ethnic and economic classes. Although all types of people will be attracted to Menchie's, it will appeal primarily to families with children and people who seek a happy, friendly frozen dessert experience with the ability to have the freedom of crafting their desires.

Every aspect of Menchie's will be standardized and tightly controlled. The menu at every store will consist of various yogurt flavors, dry goods, and fresh fruits that are partly adapted to the local market. There will also be a limited number of other items, and branded merchandise that will enhance the guest experience and develop the love for the brand in every guest.

The Menchie's strategy will unilaterally redefine, differentiate and elevate the perceived value of our guest's in-store experience within the frozen dessert category. This will include stretching conventional thinking and boundaries by creating an experience that extends the brand beyond the product. Our guests will frequent our stores to seek added value multi-dimensional experiences that exist beyond and outside the core product realm. We will cultivate and set the tone of our category. There can only be one leader.

Menchie's will be designed for efficiency, cleanliness, attractiveness and guest self-service. Stores will have five areas: kitchen (not visible to guests), yogurt wall, topping stations, service circle and indoor/ outdoor seating. Team members will wear uniforms, follow exactly the same procedures, and will emphasize service, friendliness and above all, guest satisfaction.

Around the office, finding reasons to gather, laugh and have fun is easy. Birthdays often produce elaborate decorations. Milestones, or as we call them Smilestones, are often celebrated with good food, smiles and time to relax together. Whether it is a potluck, costume party, our annual BBQ, or Yogurt Wednesdays stepping away from our normal routine and spending time to connect is important to us.

The Yummerican Dream

Mookie grew up on the sunny California fields with her little twin sisters Pookie and Sookie. She has a passion for moosic and is always humming a tune about how her and her sisters like to keep it real — their milk is rBST-free.

Menchie, who is also all about keeping his ingredients real, met Mookie at a farmer's wedding where she and her sisters were performing. They clicked right away and hit the road to go on and rock the world of frozen yogurt! With their milk, Menchie creates the yummiest flavors and the girls, now known as "Mookie & the Cowabungaz", sing about his mixes.

Today, Menchie's yogurt is the most popular yogurt in the world, and "Mookie & the Cowabungaz" are burning up the charts! Menchie and Mookie are the ambassadors of the UFY, they spread the yumm all over the world in a festive, creative and generous manner. Together they make you taste it, mix it, sing it, dance to it...they are yummstars!

Our Products

The Menchie's Private Label Collection is made exclusively with our own custom blend of flavors that you won't find anywhere else. We strive to offer something for every guest and pride ourselves on using only the highest quality ingredients. Our frozen yogurt is a good source of calcium as it is made with fresh milk from our California dairy, and our "smiley" California cows have not been treated with artificial growth hormones (rBST). Our product line boasts gluten-free, vegan, and no high fructose corn syrup options and we strive to use natural flavors including real cake, cookies, spices, fruits and nuts. Our entire line of frozen yogurt is certified Kosher and is awarded the live and active culture seal by the National Yogurt Association. Menchie's focuses on quality, variety and innovation in order to produce our best-in-class frozen yogurt.
